Why are Violet Lasers so Amazing?

The violet wavelength appears within the range of 405 to 460 nm. This unique wavelength spectrum can carry more information than all other wavelengths and has thus made it the preferred choice for data, DVD and CD equipment. The violet wavelength is also revered for its healing properties but has not been widely used in the past due to its prohibitively high cost. Due to advancements in technology and competitiveness in the industry, prices of violet LED and Laser equipment have become more affordable.

Within this light wave window of 405 to 460 exists the ability to stimulate a different kind of healing than with other wavelengths. While Red lasers are great for skin, burns, wounds, inflammation and most soft tissues issues and Infrared (IR) lasers are great for bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and hard tissues of the body, violet laser does something different.

The Violet wavelength of 405 to 460 has been receiving a renewed interest and excitement among those who understand it’s unique characteristics. It is known to induce action in the full group of "cytochrome oxidase enzymes." These enzymes are formed in the mitochondria (structures inside of the cells) and generate the ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the basic fuel for the cells to regenerate themselves. This is the key to renewing the vitality of skin.

Many next-generation applications like Bio-Medical instrumentation, high-resolution printing and high-density data storage rely on 405nm, or violet lasers. They also activate chemicals called porphyrins (which are produced by the P. acnes bacteria responsible for causing acne inflammation) creating intracellular singlet oxygen – inducing bacterial cell death. This is often combined with red low-level laser, which has anti-inflammatory properties, minimizing the redness of acne lesions and promoting healthier skin.

Correct wavelengths at optimal intensities ensure optimal results.

Violet lasers help to reduce bacterial colonization of the sebaceous gland, reducing sebum production to normal and reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Simultaneously, violet wavelengths induce anti-inflammatory cytokines, stimulating specific immuno-regulatory pathways.

Studies have shown combination blue & red phototherapy reduces inflammatory acne lesion count by up to 80%, 12 weeks from the end of treatment.

More Benefits of the Violet Laser:

Violet Laser offers many reported benefits for use on dermatological conditions. By exposing the surface of the skin to the blue/violet spectrum, researchers have demonstrated that moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris is quickly cleared. The research of blue/violet light wavelengths of 400-420nm clear acne by combining antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity, and that violet laser therapy is an effective and safe solution for acne. It promotes proliferation of cell reproduction, enhances the micro circulation to induce healing processes for acne outbreaks, reduces the inflammation of acne spots and eliminates bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes), which is the cause of acne.

Cold laser research and development centers around the world are studying the shifting and deletion of the cell’s polarity of cell memory, and we are seeing great results with unwinding the glands – which govern the cranial sacral system, the organs, and all cells of the body. “You are as young as your organs and glands.” Now people are using violet laser to rejuvenate and regenerate the cells of their organs and glands.
